The museum is open on Saturdays and Sundays, 2pm – 4pm, September to mid June.
The museum will also open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays 2pm-4pm during the Autumn and Spring Festivals and Victorian School Holidays.
Entry fee is $5 for adults and children 12 and under free when accompanied by a paying adult. Students up to 18yrs free.
Bright & District Historical Society also manages the historic Gold Ore Crushing Machine and museum (near Dougherty’s Bridge on Coronation Avenue) on the 2nd and last Sunday of the month from 2 pm to 4 pm. Entry is $5. EFTPOS available
It is closed for winter for the same period as the Museum.
The museum and gold crushing ore machine can also be opened at other times for groups by prior arrangement with the Secretary.
